Excellence Indicator System report.
It is the rural setting, an emphasis
on academics and a safe environment that make Lorenzo High School unique.
Constructed in 1964, the look of the school has not changed much over the years.
However, computers with Internet connections are in each classroom and a computer
lab is available to students.
The school has a rich tradition in athletic
competition. Students compete in basketball, football, golf, track, tennis and
power-lifting. Other extracurricular activities include band and inclusion in
a One Act Play competition.
Because of the emphasis on academics, about half
of all Lorenzo High School graduates attend a college or technical school. The
school holds Career Day on campus each year.
