Wolffarth Elementary School was built in 1950. Three additions were added in 1953, 1956 and 1986.

Every classroom has at least four computers, and two computer labs are available to students. The school library has three computers and all computers on campus are Internet-ready.

Campus facilities include a gymnasium.

The parent teacher association is small but very active, one official said.

Wolffarth has received exemplary ratings from the state several times, and was rated four-star school by the Texas Education Agency.

The school supports a choir and has a successful Accelerated Reading program.
