was built in 1969. School officials said it's the attitude of teachers and students
that make the school unique. In classrooms, during extracurricular activities
and on the playing field, teachers and students have a winning attitude, school
officials said.
The school is well connected when it comes to technology.
A computer lab is available to students, and there is at least one computer in
every classroom. All of the computers are wired for Internet access.
The Pirates
compete in football, basketball, track, cross-country running and volleyball.
The junior high also has a band program and participates in a One-Act Play competition.
Students participate in a variety of special events throughout the year, including
band concerts, dances and fund-raising events.
